Do I have to be technical to use Social Wi-Fi Marketing?

    No! Social Wi-Fi Marketing can be deployed in a matter of minutes and is designed as a plug-and-play solution. Adding a device to our platform and building your first campaign takes only a few minutes. No technical experience is needed to use Social Wi-Fi Marketing!

Does this work in my country?

    Yes! Our Social Wi-Fi Marketing program is a cloud solution which allows you to manage and control Social Powered Hotspots and locations from anywhere in the world with an internet connection. Shipping routers to countries outside of the United States and Canada will incur additional charges.

What languages do you support?

    Social Powered Wi-Fi campaigns can be created in English, Spanish, French, German, Russian, Chinese, Arabic, Dutch, Norwegian, Korean, Japanese, Portuguese, Turkish, Italian, Thai, Slovenian, Swedish, Norwegian, Hebrew, Hungarian.

Which social network login options do you support?

    We currently support Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google, Instagram and Vontakte as social connection options for users to use when connecting to Social Powered Wi-Fi Hotspot.

What if I have customers that don’t use social media?

    That's okay. Social Powered Wi-Fi platform gives you the ability to offer login via email address where you can request identifying information in addition to just an email address. There is also the option to allow users to login via SMS (Powered by Twilio), where they can be sent a unique PIN code to log into your WiFi.

Which autoresponders do you currently integrate with?

    We currently integrate with GetResponse, MailChimp, iContact and SendReach. We also integrate with Zapier which allows you to sent data to hundreds of autoresponders and CRM’s.

Will my customers know I am using your Social Wi-Fi Marketing software?

    No! We allow you to fully brand your Social Wi-Fi Marketing platform with your own logo, brand and custom domain.

What is a Social Powered Hotspot device?

    A Social Powered Hotspot looks and smells like a normal router but is preconfigured with custom firmware specifically for Social Wi-Fi marketing and is designed as a plug-and-play device.

I already have a Wi-Fi router, why do I need a new device?

    It is never recommended to share your private Wi-Fi network with public guests. By adding a separate physical Wi-Fi device dedicated for public usage, not only does it make your network more secure, but it also enables a Social Login option that is only available with custom hardware.

What is the typical signal range of a Social Powered Hotspot?

    Depending on the conditions of where your Social Powered Hotspot is setup, distances can vary between 50-100 feet. Keep in mind that objects such as metal doors, cinder block walls, concrete walls and glass walls can impact signal range of your Social Powered Hotspot device.

What is the minimum recommended internet speed to use a Social Powered Hotspot?

    We recommend a minimum of 5MB down and 5MB up speed of your internet connection which is much less than your average high speed internet connection speed. Faster Internet connections will result in improved performance for your connected users.

What is the user limit of a Social Powered Hotspot?

    The Social Powered Hotspot can support up to 32 SIMULTANEOUS USERS on your Social Wi-Fi Network.

Can I limit the amount of bandwidth and time users can consume?

    Yes! Each location you set up can be adjusted for maximum bandwidth and timed internet access limits.

Will my business/personal Internet be secure?

    Yes! By adding a social login layer you will limit the amount of users who connect to unprotected networks. No more handing out or posting your network's password.

Do I have to be in the client's location to manage their Social Powered WiFi Hotspot?

    No! Social Wi-Fi Marketing platform allows you to manage your devices from anywhere in the world with an internet connection.

What if the business has several locations?

    Social Powered Wi-Fi can work in all locations using the same marketing campaign. As long as there is an Internet connection at the location you can install a Social Wi-Fi Hotspot. You can assign different campaigns to each location or use the same one for all.

Do repeat users have to login each visit?

    If the user exceeds their session time limit (defined in the Branding section), they will be required to log in again.

What is a campaign?

    A campaign is your Free Wi-Fi login experience. Campaigns are designed with a set goal in mind such as looking to increase social awareness, boost reputation, get more likes on Facebook, generate leads.

How can I customize a campaign for my client?

    You can customize each aspect of the campaign - Social login options and appearance of landing page, default language, header, footer, background images, thank you page, successful login redirection page and much more.

How do I allow my client to preview their campaign?

    The Social Powered Wi-Fi platform allows you to send a preview URL to your clients. This preview URl allows your clients to walk-through the full Social Wi-Fi login experience before pushing the campaign live. Great for making client requested changes and optimizing your campaigns.

Can I see how many of my client’s customers have connected to the Social Wi-Fi campaign?

    Yes! MyWiFi includes in depth real-time analytics in your dashboard. You will be able to see who connected, including their social information if they logged in using one of your social apps. How many connections were made in a time frame that you can specify. New vs. returning visitors and even campaign specific statistics.

What can I charge my clients for Social Powered Wi-Fi Marketing services?

    It really all depends on the client, but typically you can charge between $50 to $500+ a month for service, before upsells. We recommend bundling it in another package. Do you provide marketing materials your Social Wi-Fi Marketing program?

    Yes! You will receive instant access to our marketing materials and training when you get started with our Social Powered Wi-Fi Marketing program.

Where will the Social Powered Hotspot device be shipped?

    The activation form allows you to specify where you would like the router to be shipped. Typically we recommend to ship the unit to your office to test tweak your campaigns before installing for your clients on-location. However the device will be shipped pre-configured and plug-and-play so we can also drop-ship direct to your client while you manage the campaign from the cloud.

Will I receive a tracking number for the package?

    Yes, once your order is confirmed and shipped you will be sent an email with a tracking number.

How long does it take to receive the device?

    Your Social Powered Hotspot will be shipped to you within 3 to 5 business days in the USA and Canada. International orders might take up to 10 business days. Your tracking number will contain all of the estimated shipping dates for your specific order.

How long does the entire process take? (SLA)

    Once you've activated this product, order the router through the dashboard (which is immediately available). The router will be shipped out within 24 hours and you will receive it within 7 business days.
